Welcome

The Digital Production Group in the School of Communication is dedicated to the production of interactive media. We focus on producing communication media for clients for education, marketing, and public service. Our work consists of web production, web-based training, and instructional design.

No matter how large or small your project, we will be able to help. We offer project planning for digital media projects, web site production (Dreamweaver, Flash, Flash Video, Captivate, Director, HTML, Javascript, PHP, My SQL, Moodle) and training. Our training can be delivered face-to-face, online, or by using a mix of face-to-face and online methods.

Many of the student creative works were created in order to complete the requirements for a master's degree. The student project plans are culminating works created as part of a capstone class.

Many thanks to the grad students and employees for their hard work. June 2009 The NSS grant team (Adams, Ngampornchai, Zain Ul Abdin) presented their findings from the first year of work June 26, at the E-Learn conference in Honolulu Hawaii. June 2009 The NIH has approved the FSU/ NSS grant for year 2 funding! The NSS team will expand to include another production worker in the fall. May 2009 The NSS Moodle site has successfully completed beta testing.. January 20 2009 The NSS Moodle site is up and running. December, 2008 A paper by Dr. Jonathan Adams, Dr. Anchalee Ngampornchai and Zain-ul-Abdin will be presented at the SITE conference in Charleston, SC on March 3. June, 2008 Dr. Adams has been awarded a $212,000 SBIR grant from the National Institute of Health. The project will be to design, develop, and program educational software in conjunction with the Northern Speech Services, of Michigan. April, 2008 The revised version of the Digital Marketing capstone course RTV 6425 was taught for the first time this year. February, 2008 The Project Management Journal recently accepted a paper authored by Bernhard Schmid (MS '07) and Dr. Adams. The Journal has a 5% acceptance rate -- a prestigious honor for Bernhard! January, 2008 It's official -- Dr. Adams successfully passed the PMP exam. on the 16th.
