Grad Showcase 2002-2003


During this academic year This year offered a seminar in CD ROM development / Director programming. The complete CD ROM masters projects are not available online. Flash-based picture books have been developed to provide the look and feel of each project.. This year, we had one award-winning disk by Ana L., who captured the Bronze Medal at the Horizon Awards!



Ana L. created an award winning CD-Rom project using Macromedia Director. This project was designed to create more accessible information about diabetic foot disease, giving medical practitioners a practical resource to better inform patients. Ana L.: Award-Winning Diabetic Foot Disease CD-Rom

Satoru Y., using Macromedia Coldfusion, developed a stock check and subscription system for a chain of independent bookstores in the Tallahassee, Florida area. The application intends to provide strong connectivity between the store and the customer through interactivity and visual effectiveness.

Nao A. created an interactive children's storybook using Macromedia Director. This project allows children to enjoy listening to the story with animated images and background music, while acquiring language skills.

Joshua W. developed a web site for the Kroller-Muller Museum in Holland, which has one of the finest art collections in the world. The web site was designed to be easy to understand, even for users whom may not speak English or Dutch. To accomplish this, the designer chose a very simple and visual scheme, that allowed the museum's art collection to speak for itself.
