Grad Showcase 2003-2004
This year marks the first year where we will make a practice of providing PDF versions of the masters projects. Because we offered a section on database design and development, this year we had several projects built using dynamic pages (CFML), with a database holding all of the content.
James C. created an interactive recruitment CD-Rom for the Florida State Air Force ROTC Program using Macromedia Director. This project was designed to inform potential applicants of the benefits of joining the FSU Air Force ROTC.

| Jonathan M. created an interactive web site for ASH Education Consulting, using Macromedia Flash and standard HTML. This project was designed to help potential clients gain awareness of the event hosting services offered by the client.

Katrina F. designed Form Defined: one by one by one, a web site developed in Macromedia Dreamweaver. This project is intended to establish a web site that bridges design with consumer awareness, focusing on the role the designer plays in mediating social usefulness in design.

Jonathan F. developed the database-driven Got Towed? web site using Macromedia Coldfusion and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Got Towed? offers users the opportunity to search a database and locate a towed vehicle.

Carolina V. produced the interactive, educational web site Mundo de Coral, using Macromedia Dreamweaver. This project is intended to help train and and educate high school students from the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica to create and maintain artificial coral reefs near their communities.

Magdiel P. redesigned the Solomon Institute Corporation web site using Macromedia Coldfusion, Dreamweaver and Flash. The redesign efforts focused on emphasizing branding the client as a company, reorganizing the site hierarchical structure and creating a visually appealing web presence.

Ned P. restructured the web site for the United Way of the Big Bend using Macromedia Dreamweaver. This project provided the client with an aesthetically pleasing,easy to use, uniformly designed web site. Potential volunteers will use this web site to learn more about the United Way of the Big Bend and how they may get involved.
